| Rebecca L. Orris is a photographer living in
the Washington, D.C. area. She specializes in landscape photography, and
is especially interested in sharing her appreciation of the magnificent
web of life that exists in our natural world.
Since the age of 8, she has been an avid backpacker in the mountains of California, and more recently Virginia and West Virginia. She believes that nature can teach mankind a lot about balance and change, and wants her photography to make people look around them with their eyes open to both the beauty and the harshness of nature. Her photographs capture the remarkable variations in lighting and landscape that occur in North America. You will see images from dramatic national parks as well as scenes from the woods behind her home in Washington, D.C.
